We chose a B&B on a hill top and got just that. the house on the farm was impressive, with stunning surroundings that can't be surpassed. the property was close enough to all the Rotorua attractions, but still felt miles away from the bustle. the hosts were welcoming and helpful, and the room was spacious with well-furnished bathrooms. the breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and the communal areas were cozy with a beautiful garden. It was a perfect country retreat.
That the place was quite expensive compared to other hotels available nearby.

The location of this B&B in New Zealand is perfect for those who enjoy walking and exploring nature, with beautiful gardens and a nearby stream to enjoy. It is also conveniently close to all the activities in Rotorua, allowing guests to easily experience what the area has to offer. The rooms are clean and comfortable, encouraging guests to spend their time in the open great rooms or outside. The hosts provide exceptional service, including delicious breakfasts and helpful insights on local attractions.
Some rooms lack privacy, as the curtains need to be closed to prevent others from seeing inside.

This hotel is a hidden treasure; the epitome of exclusivity. the luxurious amenities exceeded my expectations, and the private facilities and outdoor dining area were the perfect touches. the room was exquisitely designed, with high-quality linens and comfortable furnishings.
The only minor issue was the hotel's distance from Rotorua city- it is not too far away, but it takes 20 minutes to reach there. In conclusion, this venue was a delightful experience!

The countryside experience was the highlight of my trip. The views of the lake during sunset from the property were truly amazing. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of dishes. It was great to have the option to choose from vegetarian-friendly meals.
The hotel was located quite far from the city center, making it challenging to get around without a car. Public transportation or taxi services were not available, which was inconvenient.

The hosts at this B&B were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing us with valuable advice about the area. The breakfasts served were exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The view from the property towards the nearby lake and mountains was absolutely stunning, creating a peaceful and picturesque setting for our stay.
The rooms were quite small and simple, lacking some of the luxurious amenities that we were expecting. Additionally, the limited time spent in the room due to the inviting common areas and beautiful grounds somewhat made up for this minor inconvenience.

The retreat is perfectly situated on a hill with stunning views of the valley and lake Rotorua. It is far enough to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere but close enough to easily access all the Rotorua activities. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, decorated with Louise's own paintings. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options including freshly cooked salmon with eggs. Guests can also stroll around the large garden and enjoy the breathtaking views.
The karaoke and casino facilities were not available on-site.

The value we got for our money was exceptional - clean, well-appointed rooms with all the necessary amenities. The location was stunning, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff, especially Christine, were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
The breakfast menu could have been improved by offering bacon as an alternative to salmon. Everything else was perfect!
